Land misuse

Hello readers, am frogulus. I was walking pass through a street and i came across a newly constructed building and my attention was drawn to something very irregular, it was the building set back. I remember that setback is a distance which a building/structure is set back from a street or road, fence.

hmm, this building has actually swallowed the whole site. It did not followed the regulated building codes (setback).  Am sure that setback standard distance is not as small as it been observed with this building. setback is very important to observe while constructing a building on the site. its importance are:
to increase safety.
to provide sufficient natural illumination into the building.
to enable cross ventilation work adequately.
to continue uniformity
to enhance privacy and security.
to limit over-building.
to end encroachment.
to provide a view without obstruction.
to improve visual appeal.
