The Handcrafted Geodesic Home



This handcrafted Geodesic structure is located just outside of San Francisco. It was built by a couple: Shelia Williamson and her husband using reclaimed wood. They spent over seven years to build this Geodesic structure. (Geodesic structure is a lightweight dome constructed of interlocking polygons, invented by R. Buckminster Fuller).

Green Bottle Vases by Klaas Kuiken



A Dutch designer Klaas Kuiken, transformed the everyday green glass bottles into an incredible vases.

He achieved this by wrapping wires around the bottles, he then heat them up and he inflated then into a fantastic sculptural shapes using an air compressor.

Plastic made Tower of Hope


In Spaza Art Garden, Troyevillie, Johannesburg South Africa, is a 20m high cellular Tower made from 7000 plastic recycled bottles. The project was inspired in 2013 by a street Artist r1 and his friend Issac, and it was officially opened in July 2016.

An Algae-Filled Living Chandelier

The living chandelier does not only lights up a space, but it also actively purifies the air around it.

The living chandelier which is titled “EXHALE” was designed by a London-based designer-engineer, bio-technologist and entrepreneur Julian Melchiorri.
