The Recy-block is design by Gert de Mulder from Netherlands.
This Recy-block is a building material made from old plastic bags.
The process of production is created by placing the
plastic in a heat mould, and then it is pressed into a block shape.
Unique designs are created by using different coloured
bags.
The Recy-block is not translucent. It has a medium texture.
It has moderate acoustic properties. It is odourless and has good weather
resistance properties. Its scratch resistance is moderate and good chemical
resistance.
This block can be used for both interior and exterior
wall or could also be used for just decoration.
The Recy-blocks cannot act as a load-bearing wall,
because it is too lightweight but the block can be used to divide up rooms.
