The Bullitt Center, Seatle, USA



The Bullitt Center is one of the world’s Greenest commercial Buildings. The Building is located in central District, Seattle, Washington, USA. The Bullitt Center was opened in 22nd April, 2013.


 It is a 6 storey building of which level 3 through 6 is a typical office floor. Bullitt Center is made from Timber, Concrete floors, adequate daylight, and white-painted gypsum wallboard.

The Building sustainability features includes:
1.    It is the system collection of rainwater into 56,000 gallon cistern, here the collected water is then filtered and disinfected.
2.    Two rows of five bright blue aerobic composters, it compost human waste so odorlessly and efficiently that first compost extraction will not be required for 18months.
3.    At the rooftop array of photovoltaic panels, it extents far behind the building’s edge to produce 230,000 kilowatt hrs a year.
4.    The 13ft high ceiling and 10 feet-high windows allows in ample of  natural light, an airy like feel and maximize daylight.
