The city of Abakaliki, the capital city of Eboyin state, in the south-east of Nigeria; has been undergoing a lot of city beautification. One of such is the Udensi Roundabout beautification.
Udensi Roundabout is one of the city major landmarks. It is more of hardscape beautification; with the use of concrete interlock stones, wrought iron (serves as railings), a waterfall fountain with colour changing LED submersible lights.
The colour changing lights are used on the edges of the
paved areas, thus giving road user a perfect direction while driving around the
roundabout at night. The combination of the colour changing LED submersible
lights and the waterfall fountain at nights gives the roundabout a dramatic and
exciting energy.
