Right from the Azure waters emerges a Whale bar, this bar
is located in a private resort: St Regis Maldives Vommuli Island. The design
concept was from Wong Chiu of Wow/Warner Wong design a Singapore based
Architects.
The Architect blended natural forms and traditional
materials, collaborating with an artist Maya Burman a renowned pyrographic
masterpiece on wood. The Whale bar roof has a shape like of a whale. The bar is
made of wood and it is adorned with beautiful designed ceiling mural of a sea
life.
The Whale bar a soft lighting, high ceilings and large,
intricately pieces of carved woods, with an open air terrace to enjoy and have
a feel of nature.
